Standalone electric power steering controller kit for Toyota Aygo (2014–2021), Citroen C1 (2014–2021), and Peugeot 108 (2014–2021) EPAS steering columns in motorsport applications.
This electronic controller kit is engineered for second-generation Toyota Aygo (2014–2021), Citroen C1 (2014–2021), and Peugeot 108 (2014–2021) column-mounted electric power assisted steering (EPAS / EPS) assemblies. Thanks to its lightweight and compact dimensions, this steering column is an industry-standard choice for circuit racing, rally, drift, autocross, kit cars, and classic retrofits (including Ford Escort, Toyota Starlet, Opel Ascona, and classic Minis).
The original steering ECU requires vehicle speed sensor and engine communication signals to activate assistance. Without these signals, the factory controller remains in an inactive failsafe mode. This module emulates the necessary communication signals, allowing the steering column to operate standalone in any vehicle chassis. The included cockpit-mount rotary potentiometer enables the driver to continuously adjust the level of steering assistance from maximum assist to a firmer, direct racing feel.

Compatibility Notice (Model Years):
2014–2021 Generation Only: Engineered specifically for the second-generation (2014–2021) steering column system. This unit DOES NOT FIT 1st-generation models (Toyota Aygo Mk1 2005–2014, Citroen C1 Mk1 2005–2014, or Peugeot 107 2005–2014), which use a completely different ECU and plug configuration.
Important Installation Notice:
Main Power Supply: This controller kit operates low-current signal circuitry only. The primary high-current power cables supplying the steering motor and ECU must be wired directly to the vehicle battery using heavy-gauge cables and an appropriate inline fuse (typically 40A to 50A rating).
